We do as you say watch the video of life we as spirit do want to learn and want to come back some of us some of do not want to come back.
The spirit pulls out of the ether the energy (sliver threads of life light) and places them on the life hub and at that moment life as you know it is made.
The program of life is chosen by the way the other people in a souls life act and teach the soul. The soul can be put into to fetus at the beginning of life and it can be put in the fetus any time after even after the birthing.
When the silver threads have been wound together in a proper manner we have at our disposal all the lessons of life and life is given to this animation. When they have not been wound together in the correct manner then life ends as you know it the silver threads are then left to return to the ether and the spirit continues to live.
What you talk about as a twin soul is the self-spirit walking alongside the soul that it made.
This is what you call your guardian angel. It is why it has no name and you have asked many times. You are your spirit self and your soul self.This is why many people end up with guides that do not have a name. once you have learned this you move on to discover more spirits who are also walking your way.

My name is Tom and I am one of your guides you know me as the one who has the lump in his back. I am your teacher and your leader today
I asked the spirit person ‘Why have you made it so cold?’
The answer was
‘Is it cold we will warm it up Would you like to put a cloak on physically now and spiritually all the time.’
